How experts analyse Championship matches for sure predictions
Sports analysts on our team break down the Championship teams using statistics, results and betting odds to predict probabilities and choose bets. Many data points are used as well as factual information, with the most crucial info offered to you in our English Championship previews and predictions. Let’s have a look at the data we use and the league itself.
The EFL Championship comprises many tactical teams with different approaches. Some squads such as Swansea, Sheffield United and Fulham love to have the ball and be in control of possession. The latter mostly plays a 4-2-31 formation with the number 10 role primarily for switching the ball quickly from one side to another. A wing-back pushes high up on the pitch to create short passing triangles, for a full-back to have a shot at overlapping and laying the ball into the box as the striker uses his physical presence to disrupt the defence. When out of possession, they love to cut passing lanes by covering spaces.
Other teams like Blackburn Rovers love to sit and play fast on counterattacks. They deal in long balls in place of short passing, as they love to find each other with a long pass in hopes of catching the opponent. Long shots are common, as they tend not to hold possession of the ball. These squads play aggressive football and try to win the ball back in their own half.
No matter the teams, experts of Takebet offer a thorough research and objective picks of Football League Championship predictions. We watch actual games to provide you with a tactical analysis, explore H2H, recent and historical result trends, the latest news and odds.
